Week 10
We brought in paint and paint brushes to paint over the pink. We found out the hard way that the pink is very bright and hard to paint over. The paint we decided to use was a brown which we will need to add another layer of paint next week so you don't see the pink through the brown. Net week is when will begin got gluing the popsicle sticks together to make the floor. We will use the foam poster for the walls. I hope our interview possibility answers back so we can get an interview as soon as possible.

Week 9
Today we have finally received the bathroom set that we ordered. However the color is bright pink so next week we plan on painting over the pink with either a beige or white color. I have also brought in the foam poster board that we will use for the walls and floor (we want to wait until next time so we do all the construction and messy things on one day). Today Nicole and I also thought of back up plans in case the teacher from high school does not reply back to us. We were thinking of our schools STEM teacher since she has taught us in science about how to construct a pasta and marshmallow building. Below is the picture of the bathroom set we ordered.

Interview Questions
This week we decided on a friend of Mrs. Gautieri´s to interview for our project on architecture. We have emailed her about our project and sent her these questions to answer:
What is your favorite thing about being an architecture student?
What is your favorite thing about being an architecture student?
How do you start a career in architecture?
When building an actual structure where do you start? What do you use for inspiration?
Do you prefer sketch and drawing or hands on building?
What college are you going to for architecture?
Who or what inspired you to pursue this?
What would you recommend for first timers to build?

Materials:First Room
We recently received our confirmation email for the furniture we ordered for our rooms. Today, we searched for more materials and made a shopping list so we each can go out and buy the materials. Next week we are going to start building our first room for our model. We have also decided o who we may interview ofr our project.

Progress Report Week #6
This week I continued to look at things we could buy to make our room however I came into an obstacle. Most of all mini model objects are crazy expensive. For example we saw that most singular things like chairs or tables are around $15 a piece. After much research we finally found a doll set for $10 and It comes with mini lamps, a bed, a chair, and a table. I think that personally toy company's should make miniature model items cheaper since they are much smaller. Hopefully we will get our mini furniture set in soon so we can start actually building our room and then the full house.

Kids Bedroom- Elena
This is the room that I also made with FloorPlanner
This week we continued to use FloorPlanner. We have all decide that we should build a full set of rooms that will come together to make a house. Next week we will make a survey to see which room we will actually build. These models of the rooms are going to help us to make the build process easier. By starting out by building one room we will learn the techniques, easy and hard parts, and materials of building and building it correctly.
